sometime i wish humans would just die so the nature of the animal world can be.
out of everything i am happy about in my life, there only one demon in me i FUCKING HATE. And no matter how hard or how much i try, i fail horribly.
im am carnivore
it make me so sad that i can convert to Vegetarian.
but my question is how do you feel about Animal testing.

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
Animal testing in my opinion isn't any better than testing on a human being. I know humans have the ability to give their consent, but does that still make it right?

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
i honestly think we should do more human testing. two reason. A. no animals is gonna have the same result as human and 2. use it on people who dont deserve to breath like murders and rapist and child molester

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
maybe you can become vegetarian if you know that the rainforest in brazil etc. is chopped down because of soja plantage to feed cattle. and african people suffer hunger because of soja plantage. (I fail to, but I'm trying to minamalize, even if you eat vegetarian for one day in the week, you make a difference!). another thing, is that I like leather.
about animal testing: In europe there are some people that deside if you can do a test with animals or not. they have to accept your plans before you get a licence to do animal testing. So not every clown can go testing on animals. but that doesn´t make it any more approved. I only use non-animal tested make up. but even a research of dog behaving is an animal test. and I'm really sure they have tested my saddle and bridle on animals.
about testing on humans, sometimes there are advertisements in newspapers that are like: wanted: man between 16-25, for testing new medications. and I like the idea of testing it on criminals.

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
well i try almost every day, i can go vegetarian as far, i think my longest is two weeks, but it hard when you live with friends where all they get is meat, and being the work out, diet eating freaks that we are, i know meat such as lean stake, chicken breast, and fish is wicked good for you fagti.
i could at least say that i dont eat shit like mic-e-ds, and burger king. or bacons at dannys or ihop. i do eat healthy, but i still feel wrong cause it an innocent animal life who was born just to be slaughter at a young age. i think i would be ok with it if it die naturally, but by then the meat is useless.
i always think twice about what im eatting like your never see me eat pizza with meat on it, including pepperroni.
i wish i could fine a sweet sexy vegetarian girl who knows how to how to cook and have fun in bed

Awwww. you guys are so cute i tried vegitarian for a week... it was hell. ill eat meat but some things i avoid because of reported abuse: KFC is bad, the thing with the beaks. If were gonna kill to eat, why cant we do it reverently, respectfully and minimize waste?

You should see the documentary food inc. It'll tell you pretty much everything you need to know about food within the last 100 years or so.

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
every (non-organic)chicken will get his beak chopped of, even the egg chickens. because they will eat each other when they don't chop the beaks.
a chicken is an omnivor, and if it doesn't get meat it will go and eat his mates. especcialy if they have a small space were they live.(they used gave animal protein powder made of slaughter waste, but thats now forbidden because of desises)
chicken is the most abused piece of meat, all over the world. from birth to slaughter.

I am a ninja from outer space. J/K. Do you have facebook or e-mail or something? There aren't any rocker dudes where I come from. Their mostly indie types and scenesters.

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
To be honest I've never understood when people say "I want to eat meat but not from cruel places like KFC" - it's such an oxymoron. You want to eat meat, which is cruel in itself, but don't want it from KFC. It's a big contradiction. It's the same as saying you think animal testing for medical purposes is ok but not for cosmetics, toiletries or household products. Doesn't make any sense.
Anyway my stance on animal testing is that I believe it is incredibly cruel, unethical, misleading, unreliable, the list goes on...

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
dude i dont understand it my self. the only thing is i dont want to eat meat. i just dont eat at places like burger king because it just so nasty and wicked unhealthy and that what i focus on mostly, my health. eatting egg whites, fish and grilled chicken brest and lean stake are really good for your body. but having said that it still doesnt make it ok of that poor chicken to have it head blown off and run around for asshole to amused to it.
and animal testing, should completely be stop. and start on humans who dont deserve to live.

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
SPG3XR, I understand what you're trying to say but I still think it's a big contradiction. You said you don't want to eat from places like Burger King because of how cruelly they slaughter the animals, but how is that any different to how animals are slaughtered elsewhere? Places like KFC have been exposed on how their chickens are treated, e.g. kicked about, stamped on, boiled alive, etc but this isn't hugely different to how chickens are slaughtered/treated in other abbatoirs. I just feel that if you're going to eat meat anyway, why does it really matter how they are killed? This whole idea of 'humane', 'free range' and 'organic' meat is just a gimmick to make people who do eat meat feel less guilty about it.
And I'll try not to get all 'preachy' here, but I completely disagree with you about meat/fish being good for your body. Though if you want a debate about it then that's fine

Re: Animal Testing, Vegetarian, Vegan
You misunderstood me. i dont want to eat places like burger king cause it nasty. stuffing greasy fatty burgers is not really my thing. just like i dont eat cookie's and candy cause it full of surger, carbs like white rice, potatoes, pasta, shit like pizza and subs, and cook wrong meat such as oil fried, greasy burgers, bacon. nor drinking soda and jucies.
Im in MMA, so i drive to be in the best shape possible. eating healthy food like oat meal, wheats, wheat bread, fruits and vegetables and greens non stop is what i eat normally. egg whites are high on protein so the why i get them. fish are a low fat food, filled with protein, vitamins and mineralsand. steak are also high on protein, and has B-12, and iron. chicken and turkey again protein and very high minerals. that why i eat those meat.
but it doesnt take my guilt away. your right, i am contradicting myself and it is just a gimmick. and i dont feel any less guilty about eat fish, chicken, and steak. they're still being slaughtered and it not right.
but a hugh part of being health and fit there thing you have to apply to like sleep 6 to 8 hous a day, work out every day, and eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. being in a house with three other mma guys and a one gymnastic girl, your gonna eat what they make, and fish, chicken, and steak are top of the menu. along with vegi burgers, reall good.
