Strongbow is a melodic street punk band from Dresden, Germany. They formed in 2011. Since their inception, they has always been determined to contribute to the music scene in an exciting way, with usage of many instruments in addition to the usual punk rock arsenal, including piano, accordion, harmonica and even bagpipes. Taking their unique sound to the stage as often as possible, Strongbow has performed hundreds of shows over the years from the far north of Hamburg to the southern regions of Slovenia and from France to the Czech Republic. And in those travels they have shared the stage with too many bands to list, but most notably they have lent support to the likes of Bonecrusher, Kings Of Nuthin’, The Real Mckenzies just to name a few.In 2003 they released their first debut EP titled "Everything Is Gone". In 2004 they released their first full-length album, "A Dog Called Retinue". In 2006 released their second album titled "Terminal Life". The third full-length album released in 2009, "Corner Bar Poetry", from this creative group that is often compared to the likes of the Bouncing Souls, Social Distortion and The Generators. In 2011 released an amazing split EP between Boston's Razors In The Night and Dresden's Strongbow to commemorate their 2011 spring tour of Europe. Catchy hardcore streetpunk from RITN and anthemic streetpunk from Strongbow make for a good combination to appeal to all fans of streetpunk rock'n'roll! In 2012 released new split EP with Dallas' punk outfit Dog Company.nbsp;Each band has a unique sound, but they differ especially when it comes to the vocals. The bands stretch their musical horizons far beyond the label of "Street Punk", and range from The Gaslight Anthem to Social Distortion to older bands such as Pegboy or Naked Raygun.
