How did it al begin....
Bob (vocals) and Niels (drums) where thinking about doing a side-project next to there punk-band The Hangouts. Wanting to also play more Hardcore than the old-skool punk the Hangouts played Bob wrote a lyric called O.D. Kids and also thought that was a great name for a band. Bob amp; Joeri (guitar) already started 1/2 Liter Records together and Joeri produced the split-cd of The Hangouts with Ratarsed and Bob asked him to join the band. Lara played Bass and lives with Bob in the same house, so that was a no-brainer. For the full sound and more creativety Bob and Joeri wanted a second guitarplayer in the band. Since our favorite Metal-head Victor (next to playing bass amp; drums) played guitar, he was in. Nothing was really that serious at the start, but then The Hangouts fall apart and quit. Now O.D. Kids was going to be the main focus for Bob and Niels, and we all decided not to fuck about and practice for a year orso untill we get our first gig. Bob had some songs and at the 29th off May we had our first practice. In 3 hours we we're able to play 3 songs. Joeri started to write a lot off songs, Bob wrote a few more and Lara wrote two (so far), so within 3 months we had 12 songs, and 2 covers, enough for a gig. The 15th of September our first gig (at the Malou Melo) was a fact.
Now we are here!
