I went to Apple Records after 40 years, It is finally closing. It went from a huge shop to the owners small house. Now it is gone for good.....

I picked up a few albums of band that were recommended to me, or just bands I liked.

Sorry for the bad camera Lol.....On the main topic..

The D.R.I 22 song green 7"in is okay. Most of the songs sound the same, but for as cheap as it was, and the amount of song for a Ep it is pretty good. I prefer their later recordings then this, but it is still a okay album. The best song is probably "Closet Punk".

The Misfits Die Die My Darling single is okay, but I prefer the B-side songs(Can I go out an kill tonight/We Bite) more than the main song(Die Die my darling).

The Minor threat album is 8 amazing songs. Nothing bad to say about it. The best song on it is probably Look back and Laugh. I think Afi covered that song to......

And for lastly OFF!. The album is great. I really liked Kieth Morris in black flag and I LOVE Circle Jerks. Classic hardcore music. OFF! is his new band from 2010. They sound like classic California hardcore. Very refreshing to the punk scene.

Anyway got any more suggestions?

Oh and I almost forgot one other thing: Don't suggest Anal Cunt, TorsoFuck, Ramones, Casualties, Exploited.

And if you are going to go off subject start a new fucking thread and don't spam this one.

Probably get Nothing To Prove by H2o. They have alot of guest Vocals and Guest musicians on the album, and the tracks are a mix of Pop-punk and N.Y.H.C sort-of.

Any Bouncing Souls Album.

Black flag- Everything Turns black

Circle Jerks- Group sex

Bad brains- Banned in D.C

Beastie Boys- Polly Wog Stew E.P( Am I the only one who knows they used to be a hardcore punk band? :/)

Get the album Rarities by Blitzkid.

Uhhhh......I guess I shall list a few more

MC Lars- The Graduate

Any album from IllScarlett(Reggae)

Less than jake(Any album)

Also you should download every Tony Hawk game Soundtrack. GREAT punk music.

Or the nardcore comp. great comp.
TSOL- dance with me
wasted youth-reagan's in
choking victim- any
Samhain-Danzigs band any(the power of the misfits(little slower) with the lyricalness of Danzig solo) truly overlooked stuff

Charlie is only 67, I'm sure there are older. My Grandpa was like 40 when he made a 60's garage punk band Lol.......So maybe he was qualified for that title.

Anyway I picked up some more albums I'll now post some pictures >.>

And a few others that I don't have actual pictures of:

R.K.L- Keep Laughing

Agent Orange- Living in darkness

Misfits- Static Age

The Stooges- The Stooges(Debut)

The Ramones- ramones(Debut)

The Smiths- Meat is Muder

The Unseen- Internal salvation

And I had to pick up Dead Kennedys- Plastic Surgery Disasters.

Almost all these albums are amazing, except for the Ramones one. It is a shitty mixture of punk and Bubblegum Pop....

Lol i'm going back to California soon. As soon as I get out of Texas ^.^. I missed the bus to Austin, So Ryan went ahead. So I figured I might as well take advantage of the closing record store. Oh and there is a place called Texas Trash, They sale pure Punk,Skinhead,Rude boy,Crust, and Gothic clothing. Pretty neat store. And in the Mall their is a place called Blackly or something. It looks like a shitty Hot Topic, but Jesus......They had shirts for GG Allen, Leftover Crack, Plasmatics, UK Subs, Dead Kennedy(Nazi punks,Too drunk), and even the Subhumans.

Now on the subject of the records:

Social Distortion had the best song on it.

Gbh was Aight. I prefer their newer releases though.

Gorgeous Frankenstein is okay, More metal than punk. Still a cool picture Disc though ^.^.Has Doyle's sexy wife on the back. Not sure why, but I don't mind.

Stiff Little Fingers album is better than most of the albums I bought this month.....It ranks atleast top 6 ^.^

I fucking love The Damned record......Thats all I got to say about that..

So the store is officially closed.....I saw a Ramones Live and a Smiths record.
